Beginnings are hard.

As I consider what to write for my opening blog post for Words by Sean, I fall into a trance looking at the (mostly) blank page and the blinking cursor.

Why this, why now

In part, I created this Substack to protect my name on this platform, but I also see this blog as a place to share general thoughts and reflections that don’t fit into my other Substacks: A Little This & That and sportsguysean.

And I welcome your ideas, suggestions, and requests.
