Have you been receiving e-mails claiming to be from CAA and offering a free car emergency kit? They are fraudulent.
I received a legitimate e-mail message today from CAA regarding fraudulent e-mails that have been circulating of late. I have received two of them in fact.
The messages appear to be authentic, including something like “Enter and Win a Car Emergency Kit! in the subject line and a message body that appears to represent CAA.
You can identify the scam e-mails by looking at the from address and/or the reply-to address.
The most important thing is, DO NOT CLICK the link in these fraudulent e-mails.
